Windsong Feature Production for 2007: MICHILIMACKINAC is a historical theatrical film based on the lives of the French and English settlers along with British commander Captain Arent DePeyster and the Chippewa Native Americans lead by Chief Matchekewis at Fort Michilimackinac during the Revolutionary War in 1775. Produced by Windsong Pictures based in Fort Wayne, Indiana, this film with a cast of more than 1,000 people will be filmed in Fort Wayne at Historic Old Ft. Wayne, western Ohio at the Montcalm School for Girls, southern Indiana at Squire Boone Caverns,and in Mackinaw City, Michigan at Colonial Fort Michilimackinac over the course of six months.
